How much does it cost to ship my order within Canada?
Your postage cost will be calculated upon checkout based on the total dimensional weight of the items in your order and where the order is shipping to. These rates come directly from the carriers.
How will my package be delivered?
Gingerbread World will choose a carrier that is cost effective and whom we trust to get your package to you safely and quickly. Currently we are using Canada Post, UPS and Canpar depending on location. Your tracking number and carrier info will be emailed to you when the shipping label has been created (it may take a day or two for the tracking number to start working).
Do you have a physical shop that I can visit?
No! We only sell online.
Can I purchase from the USA?
Currently we are not shipping to the USA due to trade policy changes made by the US government. Learn more here...
I live in Winnipeg - do you offer free delivery or pick up?
Yes to Free Pick Up! You are welcome to choose the Free Pick Up option during Checkout. We'll let you know when your item is available for pick up and arrange a place convenient to all of us.
And Yes to Free Delivery on orders over $100. This option will be presented to you during Checkout if your order meets the $100 minimum. THIS IS ONLY FOR LOCAL WINNIPEG DELIVERIES
If my order is a gift for someone else can you ship it to them directly?
Can I have my order shipped to another address in Canada?
Absolutely. The Shopping Cart Check Out process allows you to Bill to your address and Ship To another. Only one shipping address is allowed per order.
Can I have my order shipped to another address in the United States?
At the moment, we are only able to ship orders to Canadian addresses. This is due to recent changes in U.S. trade policy that make it difficult for us to serve American customers right now.

Can I have my order shipped to another address somewhere else in the world?
During the Christmas season, Lebkuchen products only may be ordered through us and shipped directly from the Schmidt bakeries to anywhere in the world (other than the USA). Please call for a shipping quote. Shipping within Germany is a flat rate of $10 Cdn.
Will I receive a tracking number for my package?
Yes you will receive a tracking number by email when your order has been processed. It can take up to 24 hours for the tracking number to start working in the postal carrier website.
